Stainless Steel Flexible Liner Kit — Full (316Ti / 304)

A complete listed relining system — liner, insulation where required, top plate, cap, tee or connector, clamps — because a liner is only compliant as a full assembly. The specification decision that actually matters is alloy: 316Ti for anything producing acidic condensate, 304 where the fuel does not warrant it. Choosing 304 to save money on the wrong appliance is the most common and most expensive error we correct. The kit is sized to the appliance, not to the existing tile.

Cast-In-Place Liner Restoration (GoldenFlue / Supaflu-Style)

When a masonry flue has deteriorated past patching, the standard offers two compliant routes: a listed metal liner or a cast-in-place system. Cast-in-place rebuilds the flue in place — a form is set, a cementitious mix is pumped around it, and what cures is a smooth, insulated, continuous liner bonded to the existing structure. It also structurally reinforces the chimney, which a metal liner does not. It is the more expensive route and it is not reversible; where a stainless liner would serve, we will say so.

Insulation on a stainless liner is not an accessory. It is what allows a liner to carry its listing at reduced clearance to combustibles, and it keeps flue gases warm enough to stay above condensation temperature on the way up. Ceramic blanket, mesh and banding, applied to the thickness the listing calls for. We treat it as standard specification rather than an upsell — an uninsulated liner in a masonry chase is a slower, colder, dirtier flue.

A factory-built firebox is a listed assembly and its refractory panels are listed parts of it. A cracked panel is not cosmetic damage — it is a breach in the barrier between fire and the steel shell, and the listing does not survive it. Replacement panels are matched to the manufacturer and model, not approximated. Where the correct panel is no longer produced, the honest answer is that the firebox is at end of life and the fix is replacement, not a generic panel forced to fit.
